emerge works to support and establish student-led Christian Union groups within secondary schools in Chelmsford. There are already a number of emerge groups and Christian Unions in various schools in Chelmsford and more groups are continuing to develop.
It is the aim of emerge to support Christian teenagers and help them to be better witnesses in their environment. emerge is about more than setting up exclusive lunchtime groups for people with nothing better to do. emerge is about establishing healthy Christian communities that are inclusive and active. It is about inspiring, encouraging and supporting young people to be the salt and light of their schools. emerge is about making a difference where you are.
